H&M (Hennes & Mauritz), one of the largest fashion retailers of the world, is all set to open its thirteenth location in Manhattan. It has announced the signing of the lease for its new location as 4 Times Square.

Measuring approximately 42,500 square feet, the new full-concept store will feature three floors of fashion. Catering to the needs of men, women and children, H&M will act as a family store for every shopper. It will be a shopping destination with a unique and interactive design to welcome customers from all over the world.

“H&M believes strongly in the New York City market. Since opening our first US store in Manhattan in 2000, we will now have 13 stores in Manhattan alone in 2013 and over 250 across the country,” president for H&M U.S., Daniel Kulle, said. He added, “Opening this new concept store in Times Square, the crossroads of the world, shows our commitment to opening in the best locations as well as our continued potential to open stores in Manhattan and the greater New York City area. This new H&M location will join our new flagship store on Fifth Avenue as world-wide shopping destinations.”

Founded in Sweden in 1947, H&M aims to provide quality fashion at an affordable price. With approximately 2,600 stores in 47 markets including franchise markets, the company recently announced the opening of a store in The Shops at Columbus Circle at the Time Warner Centre by the end of this year. It also plans to open its new flagship store at 589 Fifth Avenue, which will be the largest H&M store in the world, measuring 57,000 square feet.

H&M carries fashion merchandise like footwear, apparel, jewelry, cosmetics, accessories, and sportswear for men, women and children. It also has a range of classic and durable travel luggage. The collection is trendy and stylish, aiming to suit every customer’s needs. It includes merchandise from various designers and brands. For the women’s collection, the company also collaborates with Anna Dello Russo, fashion director and creative consultant at Vogue Nippon.
