This limited-edition palette features a vibrant array of 40 new and best-selling shades from the brand's four-decade history.

The rainbow-themed palette, priced at $150, is available for purchase on MacCosmetics.com. Proceeds from the sale of this collector's item will support MAC's global philanthropic initiative, Viva Glam. 

The Viva Glam program is dedicated to advancing equal rights and healthy futures for all, with a focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ organizations such as It Gets Better, The Trevor Project, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

The 40 Shades of Pride Eyeshadow Vault showcases a diverse mix of textures, from metallic to matte finishes.

The palette is designed to provide long-wearing, non-creasing color that is safe for contact lens wearers and has been ophthalmologist-tested.

To achieve optimal results, MAC recommends priming the eyes with its Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base to enhance color intensity. 

For a bold look, users are advised to apply the eyeshadow over the eyelids and creases with the 239S Brush using a pressing motion. For a more diffused effect, the brand suggests blending the colors with the 217S Brush in a circular motion.
