Kate Hudson, who has been keeping a low profile except for movies and her cameo in Glee, seems to be back with a bang. The “Bride Wars” star walked the Venice Film Fexstival red carpet in a dress that left little for the imagination. And, that was in August but the virtual world is still talking, guessing and wondering at the daring act.
Accompanied by Muse frontman and fiancé Matt Bellamy, Hudson looked striking in a nude gown from Atelier Versace's 2012 Fall Collection. With intricate designs and cuts, the gown highlighted Hudson’s toned shoulders and curves. Hudson’s dress, however, also started a debate about whether she had decided to forgo her undies or if she was smart enough to wear flesh-colored ones.
Kate Hudson joined the list of best-dressed celebs after she appeared in a Versace gown at the 2003 Academy Awards. The sheer Versace gown she wore for this year’s Venice Film Festival reveals quite a bit of skin and leaves little to the imagination, but Hudson looked quite divine in it. Hudson, a mother of two, gave birth to her first baby with Bellamy in July and has lost oodles of weight since then.
Hudson looked sleek in her post-baby bod and was very comfortable in the sheer gown which she paired with a loose, messy bun, smokey eyes, elegant jewelry from Les Fabuleuses de Fabergé, an Eddie Parker clutch and killer heels. Hudson was also seen puckering up to Bellamy for a cozy moment, according to a report by The Daily Mail.
Later, she was seen catching up with Naomi Watts, who was present at the event with partner Liev Schreiber. Watts and Hudson carried a similar kind of look with Watts flaunting a nude, lacey, fishtail detailed Marchesa gown.
