Marie Veronique Organics, a natural skincare company, has launched their third face wash, “Cleanser”. The gentle face wash contains green tea, aloe vera and jojoba oil, which effectively relieves the skin of dirt, oil, sunscreen and makeup without harsh or irritating foaming agents.

The skin naturally exfoliates and sheds dead skin but due to pollution and dust, cleansing is equally important to remove the daily accumulation of dirt and oil. Marie Veronique Organics use very mild agents derived from sugar to remove remnants like makeup.

“We have heard many of our customers say that although they absolutely love how our cleansers wash away the daily accumulation of dirt and grime without stripping the skin, they wish that we could create a gentle cleanser that washes away makeup and sunscreen, too. This was a big challenge and it took a while for Marie to come up with the perfect solution. The great news is that she did it, and our customers have overwhelmingly declared it worth the wait,” Hillary Peterson, CEO of Marie Veronique Organics, says.

Essential oils like geranium and palmarosa have been infused in the face wash to provide anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. No alcohol, detergents or synthetic fragrances have been added to “Cleanser”.

Founded by Marie Veronique with her daughter in 1998, her goal was to create a skincare line that would allow her to age gracefully and naturally. The brand uses natural, organic and fair trade ingredients, packaged in 100 percent recyclable material. It also donates 10 percent of its profits to organizations that work toward creating better opportunities for women and children in Third World countries.

The brand carries a number of products for anti-aging as well as products like sunscreens, moisturizers and face and body mists.

The new face wash, “Cleanser”, is now available and retails at $11 for a 1-ounce bottle and $32 for a 4-ounce bottle. It is available exclusively on the brand’s online site.
