Tinted moisturizers are a favorite product of ours, especially as warmer seasons are slowly creeping toward us. Although we love a full-coverage foundation, we equally love a lighter-weight tinted moisturizer. A tinted moisturizer gives you a bit of color while also hydrating your skin.

Even though tinted moisturizer is a double-duty product, you should still hydrate your skin prior to applying. It's great for someone who prefers a fresh-faced look.

Depending on your skin type, you might have an easier or harder time finding the right tinted moisturizer for you, but we're here to take out all of the guesswork for you.

Sensitive Skin - L'Oreal Paris Skin Paradise Water-Infused Tinted Moisturizer

This lightweight, sensitive skin-friendly tinted moisturizer has SPF in it, making it a triple threat. This promises to give your skin some natural coverage and 24-hour hydration, as well as a glow. It is also worth noting that this product is made with a 70% water-infused blend that uses aloe vera and witch hazel, which are both sensitive skin-friendly. It is also oil-free!

Normal Skin - Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid + Squalane

This is one of our favorite tinted moisturizers/skin tints. We love it because it's super lightweight, is buildable, and has skincare benefits. It uses tiger grass, which helps reduce redness and soothe your skin, so it's also sensitive skin-friendly. It also contains a blend of glycerin and hyaluronic acid, which can help your moisture barrier, and features ingredients such as squalane, vitamin E, safflower, and avocado oils to keep your skin nice and hydrated. As long as you set it, it can last a long time on your skin.

Oily Skin - Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Natural Matte Tinted Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid and Mineral SPF 30

This is another product with a ton of skincare benefits, and it is also one of the few matte options on our list. Sephora recommends this oil-free formula for oily, normal, and combination skin. It promises to have up to 12 hours of oil control and also has SPF 30. Some ingredients worth paying attention to are marine botanicals, which help balance skin and reduce oil and sebum. It also has hyaluronic acid, which helps keep your skin hydrated.

Dry Skin - Wet n Wild Bare Focus Tinted Hydrator

This is another favorite of ours because you can pick it up just about anywhere. It is a buildable formula; if you want more coverage, you can always add a bit more to your skin, and just like that, you have a medium-coverage foundation. This also uses hyaluronic acid and vegan squalane to keep your skin uber-hydrated. This product is best for normal or dry skin.

Combination Skin - Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector SPF 20

This tinted moisturizer is oil-free and hydrating, making it the perfect product for combination skin. It is a demi-matte product that has SPF, and it will give you the perfect "no-makeup" makeup look. It has oil-absorbing power, which keeps your oily areas shine-free, and it uses licorice root extract to help soothe your skin. What's not to love? This product works well for combination skin as well as oily skin.
