Fragrantica, the esteemed perfume magazine hailed as the online fragrance encyclopedia, has unveiled the winners of its 2023 Readers' Choice Awards.

With an impressive turnout of over 2 million votes, fragrance enthusiasts worldwide revealed their preferences, determining the most beloved perfumes of the year.

"Thank you, Fragrantica members, for your enthusiastic participation in our seventh Readers' Choice Awards!" Fragrantica said. "This year, nearly two million votes were cast, making a clear statement about your favorite perfumes of 2023."

Libre Le Parfum from French luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent clinched the Best Perfume for Women award for the second consecutive year. This sweet, floral and vanilla-scented fragrance claimed the same title after its launch in 2022.

Fragrantica included fragrances from 2022, recognizing that not all had the opportunity to experience the newer releases immediately upon their debut.

Meanwhile, Best Perfume for Men 2023 went to Le Male Elixir from Jean Paul Gaultier, a vanilla-based fragrance that debuted last year. In 2022, Sauvage Elixir Dior claimed this title.

The Best Unisex Perfume for 2023 was Angels' Share Anniversary Edition by Kilian. This woody, amber vanilla fragrance captured the hearts of both men and women alike and was also granted the same title in 2022.

Sauvage Dior, a fragrance that has gained huge popularity since its 2015 release, topped the "I hate this perfume" category, according to Fragrantica.
