Nordstrom, a fashion specialty retailer has announced its plans to start a full-line store at the Woodlands Mall in Texas. The store will be Nordstrom’s fourth and is scheduled to open its doors in the fall of 2014.
Talking about the venture, Erik Nordstrom, president of stores for Nordstrom, Inc. said, “We’re grateful for the response and support we've received from our Houston customers since we first opened at the Galleria in 2003. We feel very fortunate that this space became available at a terrific location like The Woodlands Mall, and our hope is that adding a store here will make it easier and more convenient for more customers to shop with us.”
Talking about the new alliance, Sandeep Mathrani, chief executive officer, General Growth Properties, says, “We are thrilled to add Nordstrom to The Woodlands Mall, furthering it as a premier retail and dining destination in the greater Houston area.”
Nordstrom, which also has an online site, has three stores in the Houston area. A company that was started in the Seattle area as a shoe store, it currently has a collection of clothing, shoes, fragrances and accessories like wallets, handbags and sunglasses for men, women and children.
The Nordstrom collection is a visual feast for anyone who loves fashion. Their collection is not just trendy but also classy and stylish. It satisfies the needs of customers whether they like formal or casual wear and their collection of footwear is stunning.
Nordstrom also has specialty shops that include “Bed & Bath”, “Home Décor”, “Gifts”, and “The Wedding Suite”. The store will also provide customers with the exclusive opportunity to pre-order Jason Wu’s Spring/ Summer 2013 collection from Sept. 11 to 17.
Sprawled over an area of 1.3 million square feet, The Woodlands Mall houses the most popular and fashionable stores like Pottery Barn, The Cheese Cake Factory and Apple, and its anchor stores are Macy’s, Sears and Dilliard’s, to name a few.
