Patrick Ta has opened up about his skincare secret.
During an exclusive chat with Us Weekly, the renowned celebrity makeup artist, whose clients include Gigi Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ariana Grande, Shay Mitchell, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, and more A-listers, said that juicing offers skin benefits.
The Patrick Ta Beauty founder, who recently partnered with Pressed Juicery, told the outlet, "Juicing is great for clear skin because when you are putting goodness in your body, you really are renewing your skin from inside out."
Ta specifically recommended the 7-Day Simple Cleanse, highlighting its high vitamin C content.
"What you put in your body is absolutely reflected in your skin," the makeup artist added.
According to the product description, the blend includes ingredients such as ginger, cayenne, and Vitamin C antioxidants, purportedly supporting the body's natural inflammatory response and aiding the antioxidant process, as indicated by several studies.
Aside from his skincare secret, Ta also revealed to Us Weekly that his favorite makeup trend in 2023 was the Strawberry Girl trend, which features pink blush all over the cheeks and nose and glossy, pink lips.
As for his favorite makeup look on a client this year, Ta pointed to Hadid's look at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) Gala in Mumbai, India, in April.
"I loved this look because I feel like it reflected the makeup that I love doing which is very bronzy. It also allowed me to travel and experience a new culture," he told the outlet.
In addition, Ta offered some beauty tips, sharing that his sequence for makeup product application depends on the look he is going for.
"It really depends on the look," he said. "If I am doing a bold and smokey eye, I start with the eye and then do foundation. If I am doing more of a soft and natural eye, then I would start with the foundation."
The makeup artist also had advice for those just starting their makeup journey.
"The best way to start is to find earth tones colors that look best on you and accentuate your natural beauty. Just start from there," Ta shared.
Ta was recently named creative force of the year at the 2023 Beauty Inc Awards at the Rainbow Room in New York City's Rockefeller Center.
Other award recipients at the ceremony, which celebrated the year's most groundbreaking releases, impactful initiatives, and standout influencers, included figures like Selena Gomez and Monet McMichael, alongside beauty brands such as E.l.f. Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Naturium, and others.
