Owning an item of couture clothing has always been an aspiration for everyone. London-based Vivays Publishing is releasing a book called “Affordable Couture”, a guide to buying and collecting couture by authors Jemi Armstrong and Linda Arroz, according to a press release.

The book aims to give all fashion-lovers an idea about designer products and how to buy couture affordably. Consisting of seven chapters, “Affordable Couture” includes the history of couture. It contains many illustrations and photographs, gives tips on the key things every wardrobe should have and advises about garment care. It also gives information on how to differentiate between genuine and fake couture.

“Affordable Couture” is a guide for people who want to understand and buy couture collections, and concentrates on topics that have often been confused.

Vivays was founded in the year 2010 by four publishing professionals. It holds a catalog of 31 titles - 23 already published and eight planned for the second half of 2012.

Jemi Armstrong is a fashion illustrator, author and professor and has books like “Pencil to Pen Tool”, “Fashion Design Drawing Course” and “I Sketch Therefore I Am” to her credit.
