Indian American designer Parna Ghose of Pure Elegance is all set to showcase her Bridal Collection at the New York Couture Fashion Week, according to a press release.

Speaking ahead of the event, Parna Ghose, president and chief designer of Pure Elegance said, “My collection this year consists of some of my most favorites. Each piece is unique, handcrafted and have meticulous embroideries and embellishments. The collection is soft, elegant and vintage which makes it reminiscent of timeless beauties. The collection includes a mix of ultra-feminine flowy skirts and dresses in vibrant colors, exquisite fabric, timeless designs that are enhanced with thread, zari and antique zardosi embroidery. I cannot wait to see the girls sashayed down the ramp in lehengas, sarees, long anarkali styled kurta and churidars”.

The Couture Fashion Week, which started in 2003, is a major event. The event showcases apparels and accessories from designers worldwide, and also features art exhibits, luxury products and services, and entertainment. This year’s fall designers include Andres Aquino, Edwing D'Angelo, Laura Williams and Luis Machicao, to name a few.

Created by Ghose, Pure Elegance is a fashion brand that designs ethnic couture and ready-to-wear designs. The brand has also been featured at the Dubai Fashion Week and the Vancouver Fashion Week.

The event is scheduled for Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel at New York’s Park Avenue.
