The first ‘Style with a Cause’ event will be held Oct. 17 at MEET in downtown Las Vegas from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as announced by a press release.
A movement initiated by Las Vegas-based stylist Jenna Doughton, Style with a Cause aims to empower and honor women through fashion and beauty. The event will celebrate women while introducing them to the latest trends through a fashion show by the Saks Fifth Avenue.
It will be an event to honor and provide a unique shopping experience to those women who make a difference in the community. They will also be advised on various beauty tips and let in to some stylist secrets.
Speaking about the event, Jenna Doughton said, “As a fashion stylist for the past 20 years, I am so excited to be able to finally launch a movement where we can celebrate and recognize women who shape their lives and communities in astonishing ways. I love that style with a cause allows women to love themselves at every turn of their journey in life just the way they are. And finally, I get to share the transformations and life-changing experiences that happen behind closed doors with the rest of the wonderful women in Las Vegas.”
Having worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years, Doughton has been voted as the best personal shopper by the magazine Vegas SEVEN and she now writes a monthly column for the magazine.
The charity beneficiaries of Style with a Cause include Junior League of Las Vegas, Dress for Success Southern Nevada and United Way of Southern Nevada Women’s Leadership Council.
