Sofia Vergara is joining a slew of celebrities who are venturing into the beauty industry.
Last year, several A-listers released their brand of cosmetic products, including Selena Gomez with her Rare Beauty line, as well as Addison Rae's Item Beauty in partnership with Ipsy's sister company, Madeby Collective.
Now, "The Modern Family" star is the latest star reported to launch her own beauty business.
The Colombian-American actress, who is married to "True Blood" star Joe Manganiello, has collaborated with Kiehl's former president, Chris Salgardo, and his business partner Luis Balaguer as Spain's pharmaceutical lab Cantabria Labs to create her upcoming beauty brand.
According to WWD, the Primetime Emmy nominee is set to offer consumers "a new generation of smart products and solutions for skincare, beauty, and health that we expect to be a success in the United States," Cantabria Lab president Juan Matji revealed to the outlet.
Although the publication did not delve into Sofia Vergara's beauty brand details, she explained why she chose to work alongside Salgardo.
She considered Kiehl's former president as "one of the beauty industry's most influential voices and leaders." With that, his expertise is proven to bring out creativity and authenticity to the brand.
"I am so excited to work with him and Cantabria Labs in this new endeavor," she mentioned.
