Dermatologists Remind You That Wearing Sunscreen In the Winter Is CrucialCredit : freestocks/Unsplash

Most people think that it's perfectly fine to skip sunscreen in the winter since it is always gloomy. However, dermatologists will tell you that sunscreen is a daily commitment all year long. As Vogue writes, the cumulative effects of incidental sun exposure, like what you get from daily commutes, include premature signs of aging like lines and wrinkles, plus sagging skin.

Even if you're stuck indoors and working from home, a broad-spectrum SPF protects you from blue light exposure from mobile phones and computers and from ambient and infrared light from overhead lighting. Allure points out that Queer Eye's resident grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness even took the time to remind his 5.3 million Instagram followers to wear sunscreen in winter.

Victoria Schofield, Dermalogica's Education Manager, tells GQ that you need a minimum of SPF30 to block at least 97 percent of UV rays. Below are suggestions from men and women from GQ and Vogue.
