First there was designer gowns, handbags, footwear and jewelry. And now there are designer flowers for weddings.

Wedding flower experts Interflora and world-renowned designer Vera Wang have teamed up to launch a collection of wedding flower designs, as reported by the Marie Claire magazine. The collection will be launched on Oct. 1 in the UK and Ireland. There are three designs in the collection: traditional, modern and romantic. They are available for the bride, groom, party, the ceremony and the reception; and are all designed by Wang.

Karen Barnes, Head of Floral Gifting at Interflora, told the magazine, “We are tremendously excited about the launch. Interflora florists can offer the level of expertise required to deliver the range to the high standard expected by Vera Wang and we believe that the Collection will be extremely popular with brides looking to put floral couture at the heart of their special day.”

A lot of celebs swear by the Vera Wang collection on the red carpet. Stars like Anne Hathaway, Katy Perry, and Sofia Vergara are often seen wearing Wang’s designs. Viola Davis wore Wang’s evening wear at the Academy Awards 2012. Michelle Obama has also donned Vera Wang evening wear on certain occasions

Wang’s collection has been referred to in a number of television shows and movies like the ‘Sex and the City’ series as well as the movie. Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson wore custom-made Wang gowns in the movie “Bride Wars”.

Celebrities like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Avril Lavigne, Jennifer Aniston, and style icon Victoria Beckham have worn wedding dresses by Wang.
