Olympic boxer Marlen Esparza has decided to enter a different ring and win the game. The 23-year-old bronze medalist intends to launch her line of fashion and beauty products

According to E!News, Esparza will launch the products in partnership with the entertainment and management firm, Robert Thorne Co. Not many details about her products have been revealed yet.
Esparza is already a known name, not only because of her game but also because of her endorsement with CoverGirl cosmetics. She has also appeared in Nike, Coca Cola, and McDonald’s commercials. Nike signed her for a sponsorship deal. Esparza also appeared on the Vogue magazine last month where she spoke about her childhood, career, family support and future plans.
Esparza also spoke about being popular and also her obsession with getting married. Vogue quoted her as saying “I want to wear a Vera Wang dress when I get married. Sleek, old-fashioned, romantic, with some sort of lace.”
Esparza is not the only sportsperson associated with fashion and beauty. Tennis star Serena Williams, started her own line of clothing called Aneres in 2003. Her sister Venus followed suit with her fashion line EleVen in 2007.
Among the tennis stars Maria Sharapova has her own line of clothing and footwear and Martina Hingis has her clothes line called the tonic tennis.
Footballer and style icon David Beckham has his own line of apparels and fragrances.
Basketball player Lamar Odom too has his own line of clothing named rich soil clothing which he started with designer Jonathan Garcia.
Nike produces footwear called Air Jordan named after famous basketball player Michael Jordan.
