L'Oreal Paris has announced Mexican media personality Martha Debayle as the new face of its Excellence Creme Pro-Keratine Hair Color, according to a press release. The print and television ads will start running from September in the United States and Mexico in English and Spanish.

“We are proud to have Martha Debayle as the newest member of the L'Oreal Paris family. Martha is quite an accomplished woman – a successful television and radio personality and entrepreneur, she is an inspiration among Hispanic women and truly embodies the modern Latina living in the United States,” Karen Fondu, President of L'Oreal Paris, was quoted as saying.

L’Oreal is a renowned brand that has a range of products including cosmetics, hair color, hair care and styling, skin care, and fragrances. It has had well-known brand ambassadors like Gwen Stefani, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz to name a few. Debayle is the newest to join the clan.

Debayle has been with the Mexican media since the early 90s and has made a name for herself as a television host. She founded BBMundo in 2000, which is a multimedia company that provides information on issues like women’s health, pregnancy, child development and parenting. Debayle was also honored by the El Universal newspaper as one of the “10 Most Beautiful Presenters in the Country”.

Debayle said in the release, “Looking good allows me to feel my best and take on the world. My hair is my favorite feature, so I can't compromise when it comes to my color. I love the empowering nature of L'Oreal Paris hair color and adore how this hair color collection fits into and enhances my multi-faceted life.”

Available in 43 shades and priced at $8.99, the Excellence Creme Pro-Keratine Hair Color by L’Oreal is a hair color that consists of a keratin complex to give hair a soft and silky texture.
