Hollywood Heartthrob George Clooney just fulfilled the wish of his long time admirer when he visited the fan on her birthday. It was certainly a once in a lifetime experience for Pat Adams, who turned 87 on Sunday.

According to ITV, the 55-year-old star visited the Sunrise of Sonning Retirement and Assisted Living Facility in Reading unannounced with a birthday card and bunch of flowers to wish Adams. "She was utterly delighted and surprised to see Clooney coming to the assisted facility just to wish her. She is still beaming from ear to ear," said one of the staff members.

As reported by Metro, Linda Jones, a worker in the facility, posted a picture of beaming Adams with Clooney on her Facebook page that stated, "The lady in the picture adores George Clooney and mentions daily how she would love to meet him in person, especially as the star lives so near to where I work," wrote Linda. "So letter arrived asking would it be possible for her dream to come true. And it was extra special as her birthday is in the week," she further added.

The "Ocean 11" star is expecting twins with his wife Amal in a country home near the Sunrise of Sonning in Berkshire. The divisional support general manager of the Sunrise of Sonning facility, Malcolm Hague, said that they were so delighted that Pat's wish came true.

"She was very much thrilled to meet her great icon and it was a very lovely surprise to see George greet her wish card and flowers. It was certainly a classy gesture from a wonderful man and it also brought smiles on the face of everyone at the Sunrise of Sonning," said Hague before expressing her gratitude for the star. It was truly a wonderful and unforgettable moment for Pat Adams, who received such a marvelous gift and one brilliant story to tell to her grandkids.
