"Mad Men" inspired McDonald's Uniform designed by Wayne Hemingway will be released for the upcoming 2012 London Olympics.
McDonald's tan/brown polo uniforms with red baseball cap has been worn by workers for the past four years, but with the upcoming Olympics in London, the UK chain decided it's time for a change.
The United Kingdom McDonal's chian recruited English fashion designer Wayne Hemingway creator of multi-million dollar, Red or Dead fashion label.
According to UK Daily telegraph, Wayne was inspired by the 1960's mod movement "harking back to a day of really classy air travel." Hemingway said "We wanted classic design. A narrow tie will always be fashionable" adding "there is a very subtle hit to the mod look, which has never gone out of fashion." The Enlish designer also admitted "there's just a little bit of Mad Men" Popular 60's based AMC award-winning series.
The newly designed uniform will be worn by 87,500 McDonald's workers this fall, perfect time for the world to see the New Look during the UK 2012 Olympics.
