Solange Knowles singer songwriter actress and model, is the younger sister of Beyoncé and member of the music group Destiny's Child. Recently she posed for Glamour France 2012 July issue.
Glmour interviewed Solange asking her what is the secret to her style?
"My style is very eclectic as I like to take risks, but I always cling to glamorous touches and classic details. I'm not necessarily inspired by magazines or fashion." said Salange
When asked about how to successfully create a good mixed and matched wardrobe? Solange answered "If you have different prints, both pieces have to have the same fabric, Certain colors like violet and pink also work well with animal prints, adding I avoid African patterns with Aztec prints."
Glamour asked Is style a family affair for the Knowles? She answered "We love fashion, but we all have different styles. It must be said that we grew up with a grandmother who was a designer and my mother, who has her own collection," said Salange.
Solange admitted that she does most of her shopping online, and meet up with Beyoncé and spend few hours if she does ever go shopping with her sister.

Recently, Solange had a spat with "Natural Hair Police" regading her hair and view about her hair.
The controversy started when people started to comment their views about Solange's hair on instagram. Solange went on her twitter on June 7 to state her views "It is a rare occasion that I ever bring the conversation of "Hair" onto twitter or anywhere for that matter."After noticing and pointing out the constant hair comments on my instagrams, someone sent me this .... "Look, all I'm saying is. My hair is not very important to me....so i don't encourage it to be important to you. Nawh boo. Just having a moment to express my disdain for the Natural Hair police of the world:)."
