Rachel Zoe has proven to fashion world that she's is an excellent designer. Rachel Zoe received the coveted seal of approval from the fashion industry and is now the new member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
Along with designers Joseph Altuzarra and Tabitha Simons, Rachel became one of the 26 newly ratified members fo the Fashion Designers of America. Currently, the council has 472 American fashion and accessory designers including notable names include Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang and John Varvatos.
Rachel Zoe started as a fashion stylist best known for her works with celebrities, and stared in Bravo reality tv series "The Rachel Zoe project." Rachel always known for her keen fashion sense workined as a fashion stylist for high profile clients such as Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, and more. The 40 year old designer collaborated with many fashion design houses and in 2011 started her own fashion lifestyle brand, providing variety of keen selctions for her clients.
Rachel continues to expand her runway collection and brand developing from being a stylist, to reality start and now a fashion designer.
CFDA founded in 1962 is a not-for-profit trade association who's goals are 'to further the position of fashion design as a recognized branch of American art and culture, advance artistic and professional standards. Establish and maintain ethics and practices of mutual benefit in professional, public and trade relations. Promoting and improving public understanding and appreciation of the fashion arts through leadership in quality and taste."
