The same week that I received NIP+FAB's Glycolic Instant Fix Mask - a favorite of Kylie Jenner's - in the mail, TIME's Baby Name Popularity game told me that if I was born today, my name would be Kylie. Was this a sign? I don't know. But I did like the mask.

The Glycolic Instant Fix Mask goes on as a clear gel - which, unfortunately, means it doesn't lend itself to Instagram-worthy mask selfies, but the cute blue, black and orange packaging is definitely Instagram-able.

The mask is easy to use: you just apply a thin layer to clean skin, let sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. While trying it for the first time, I accidentally missed a small patch under my chin that started to itch like crazy after a few minutes, so make sure you rinse thoroughly!

So what does it do? The glycolic acid is meant to stimulate collagen, tighten pores, improve skin elasticity and boost radiance; NIP+FAB's EVERMAT technology is meant to treat oily skin, minimize pores and reduce shine; and amino acid brightens and evens skin tone.

I could feel the mask - which smells like citrus - begin to tighten almost immediately after applying the gel, which lets you know it's working! After ten minutes and a thorough rinse, my skin seemed noticeably brighter and a little more even, and an about-to-break-out pimple was slightly smaller.

Want to try the NIP+FAB Glycolic Instant Fix Mask? It's $12.95 for 50ml and available atnipandfab.com and at Ulta and CVS stores nationwide.
