While rumors have been rounding that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are dating, the actor has denied the allegation, but their actions tell us otherwise. While breakup reports have also been spreading, the "Bajirao Mastani" actress talks about her thoughts on settling down.

We have not only heard Padukone and Singh express their fondness for each other, but have seen the two show some PDA as well. However, the actress revealed that she is not trying to rush anything and is no where near thinking about marriage.

"I don't know about settling down. Your career is one thing but, settling down with one person for the rest of your life...that's a completely different feeling, thought and idea. I don't think I'm ready for that," said Padukone to IANS, according to First Post.

In the mean time, Padukone is enjoying her success with "Piku," which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan.

During one of the press conferences for the movie, Padukone was asked how she felt when Singh expressed that he was "lucky to have Deepika in life." Padukone has been right by Singh's side during his tough time in the hospital and she replied that any friend would have done the same thing.

"I think that's what friends do. You know, when you're down and out, you need strength and support, when you need to be encouraged. You know, when everything is going right for you, everyone's there for you. But I think its really your friends and families who are there for you when you need them the most and I think that's what I was doing," said Padukone according to Business of Cinema.

While some people were surprised to hear Padukone call Singh her friend, we wouldn't be surprised if she was only trying to keep their relationship private.

Singh reportedly admitted that he has been won over by Padukone, however, not only by her looks, but her personality as well. After Padukone talked about her battle with depression, Singh talked to the media saying that he was brought to tears after watching her confession about her depression on a television chat show.

The actor gives a lot of props to his alleged girlfriend for speaking up about a difficult situation and that not many people could have done the same thing.

While Singh appears smitten by Padukone's courage, the two of them have been spotted out together numerous times.
