The Indian round of the Triumph fashion show is round the corner and participants are all geared up with creations at the top of their game.

Triumph is a leading brand when it comes to lingerie and shape wear. Every year, the brand holds a contest where in young aspiring fashion designers take part in creating a unique piece or set of lingerie/shape wear.

This year, the brand holds its fifth annual Triumph Award which will take place in Shanghai. The vent has returned to take place in Asia after three years when the Grand Finals took place in Europe. This year the brand has chosen the theme, "Dragons and Butterflies" for the event where participants from 31 countries across the globe will take place.

The Indian round will take place on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 where the contestants will display their creations to an Indian panel of judges and design experts. The winner will then go on to compete with the winners of 30 other countries.

Confirming the news, Head of Sales & Marketing for India & Sri Lanka, Mr. Shalindra Fernando said, "Triumph is proud to conduct the TIA contest in India for the 5th consecutive year. This event has now cemented its place in the global fashion calendar, and is an amazing opportunity for young designers to showcase their talent and creativity. The Indian designers who have represented the country in the past have always made their mark, and we are hopeful that this year's candidate will go a step beyond that and place within the top 3 in Shanghai".

This event gives young designers a platform to showcase their talent. In a world where people are always in a rat race to prove themselfs, here aspiring designers get an oppotunity to become a part of the future generation in the fashion industry.
