The Vanity Fair Tribeca Film Festival Party saw celebrities come out of hiding after a long cooling off period resulting from the wrap of the awards season.

The Film Festival kicked off with a grand party sponsered by Vanity Fair and was held at the State Supreme Courthouse in New York. The background setting for the event was a bit drab but the fresh Spring collections that the celebrities at the event donnned more than made up for this. Dakota Fanning, one of the fest's jurors, popped in neon pink Lanvin, which almost (but not quite) distracted us from the strange headband situation on her head; Leelee Sobieski was eye-catching in a full-skirted Jil Sander dress; and Wendi Murdoch made one of the strongest statements of the night in no less than six different bright colors.
