Lady Gaga enlists Giorgio Armani to design her costumes for her "Born This Way" Asia Tour.

Lady Gaga has always made it to the headlines for everything she did, spoke and wore. Now, with her Asia tour nearing (April 27th, 2012), the pop-star has all the more reason to have gossip and news buzzing around her. This time round, the singer has chosen Giorgio Armani to design a collection for her tour.

Fashion obsessed Lady Gaga is known for her costumes and fashion statements. She's asked the designer to produce a collection of over-the-top performance outfits that promises spikes, PVC and mirrors!

Sketches from a leading newspaper reveal that the pop star will be channeling a dominatrix from a futuristic look of Whoville. The custom made costume features loads of beads and strings dangling about, all fitted into a structural corset. However the show stealing and most bizarre piece from the collection is said to be a jumbled set of life-size guitars tacked on to her body. The interesting bit is that three of the four outfits Giorgio Armani has designed for the singer's tour don't include pants. One of the outfits also includes a head piece reminiscent of the aliens from Aliens Vs Predator.

This is not the first time Armani has designed costumes for Lady Gaga. Previously, the singer has walked the Red Carpet on many occasions wearing an Armani. Who can forget the 2010 Grammy Awards when the two coupled up and Gaga wooed everyone with some outstanding futuristic designs. However, this time the designer says it's different as the costume designs are more elaborate.

"Collaborating with Lady Gaga is always an exciting experience for me. I admire the way she uses fashion as a scenic element and as a means to build a character," said the designer in an interview.

The superstar seems to be leaving no stone un-turned in making this tour something no one would forget easily. Late Tuesday night, Gaga called a meeting during the tour preparation solely to discuss the use of for during her shows. The singer tweeted "You know there's something wrong with you when you call a tour meeting only about 'fog.' It's serious people. Worse comes to worse ill just fog myself in the corner during 'Bad Romance'
