Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin put paid to any breakup rumors over Easter after they were spotted together on Saturday at the Tavern on the Green in Central Park and later, walking through Strawberry Fields, the section of the park dedicated to the memory of John Lennon, according to New York Post's Page Six.
"Jennifer arrived first and waited in her car for a bit, then went to the table and sat with her bodyguard until Chris arrived," a source told the publication.
Another source added, "They were talking softly to each other throughout the meal. As they left, she changed shoes and her sweater, and she was overheard telling him she wanted to take a walk through Strawberry Fields, and they left holding hands."
On Easter Sunday, the couple boarded a private plane out of New Jersey's Teterboro Airport, People reported.
According to sources, Martin and Lawrence's recent sightings were the first time they'd been seen together since they attended Harry Styles' 21st birthday party in Los Angeles.
The pair have not been spotted much in public recently most likely because of their conflicting schedules.
Lawrence is currently filming the movie "Joy" in Boston and the Coldplay singer has been helping Jay Z launch his new music streaming service,Tidal.
Still, the "Hunger Games" star and Martin have been seeing each other privately, with the latter visiting the former in Boston.
"They see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing. Both have full plates, and they like it that way," a source told People.
In other news, Martin was recently seen vacationing with his soon to be ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow in Mexico. This led people to speculate that the two may be reconciling a year after announcing they were "consciously uncoupling."
However, a source revealed that the estranged couple are moving forward with their divorce, but have remained friends for the sake of their two children, Apple and Moses.
