Brooke Shields stars in a new commercial for Wen Hair Care. The 49-year-old actress was named the haircare brand's celebrity ambassador in January and is now taking further steps into her new role.
WWD writes that the brand's commercial format is similar to its existing informercial and stars both Shields and Wen creator Chaz Dean.
"Wen has completely changed my hair," Shields said. "It makes me look and feel younger. Even my husband has noticed a difference."
"After being friends with [Shields] for 20 years, it has been amazing to be able to reconnect and educate her about my philosophy on healthy hair and Wen," said Dean. "[Shield's] passion for Wen shows through in the show."
Wen.com also places Shields front and center. Her face is the first thing you see on the website, along with a quote reading, "WEN dramatically changed the appearance of my hair. I haven't seen this type of shine, volume and texture since I was a young model."
