Forget pink hair - blue hair is in!
Hilary, 27, dyed her hair a bluish-green, revealing the look on Instagram before stepping out on the red carpet for the premiere of her new TV show, "Younger."
"I've never done anything like this," Hilary told Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen Show" recently.
"I was just in Cabo with [my son Luca] and I was staring at the ocean and I was like, 'I want that on my head.' So, this happened."

Most recently, "Modern Family" star Ariel Winter, 17, chose dip-dyed ends (or possibly extensions) to walk the red carpet at the Kids' Choice Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards last weekend.

Another young star, 20-year-old Lorelei Linklater of "Boyhood" fame, memorably rocked blue hair at the SAG Awards in January. She has since returned to her natural dark brown hair but has often talked about her love of experimenting with wild hair colors.

While Kylie Jenner, 17, is currently rocking long, dark hair, she made dip dyed blue hair her trademark look this summer. She's so associated with the look that she even offers teal extensions as part of her Kylie Hair Kouture line. And we wouldn't be surprised if she returned to blue hair soon.
"I'd probably never go pink or purple [when it comes to my hair] because blue is my thing," Kylie recently told Style.com.
Blue hair has come in and out of style over the years. Gwen Stefani famously rocked the look back in 1998, and stars including Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Juliette Lewis, Kate Hudson, Kesha, Anna Paquin and Lea Seydoux have temporarily gone blue.
