One Direction fans literally went crazy after news spread that Zayn Malik left the band amid their "On the Road" world tour. According to E! News, a 1D representative confirmed that Malik is indeed bailing out on their concert.

However, the Asian leg of the tour will continue with remaining band mates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

"Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate," the band's rep said. "The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta."

Although 1D fans are freaking out about Malik's sudden departure, a Hollywood Life source exclusively said that other band members completely comprehend Zayn's desire to depart from their current concert tour.

"They were a little stunned at first, but realize it's for the best with everything he's going through with Perrie [Edwards] and the long-tour commitment, which really takes it out of you," the source revealed.

"It's up to them now to carry the torch while Zayn does what he needs to do, and they're up for the challenge of becoming a four-piece, instead of 5," the insider continued. "Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis are very supportive of Zayn's need to recuperate and get his life back on track. They're like brothers, and will do anything they can to help."

Malik's departure from 1D's world tour was part of a demand Perrie Edwards, his fiancée and Little Minx member, made after she saw pictures of him cozying up with a random fan in Thailand, the Daily Mail reported.

As the band prepares for their upcoming Manila performance this weekend, the New York Daily News revealed that a "weed bond" was imposed by the Philippines on two 1D members. Philippines' Immigration Bureau requested Malik and Tomlinson to post bonds worth almost $5,000 each. And when they're caught using or impliedly promoting illegal drugs during their concert, it will be forfeited.

Meanwhile, a local Anti-Drugs Advocate group also requested the bureau to strictly inspect the band's concert permit after a video was published on the Internet showing Malik and Tomlinson allegedly smoking marijuana. Yahoo! News reported the two 1D band members are required to post $4,470 bond and $447 processing fee each through their producer.

The 1D concert producer went to the Immigration Bureau Thursday afternoon to post the bond and fee.

The Anti-Drugs Advocate group is awaiting a response to their petition, asking a local court to ensure the band members are drug-free. They are also urging the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency to send officers to monitor the band. However, ABSCBN News reported the petition was denied by the court.

Though Zayn Malik won't be joining his fellow 1D band members in their Manila concert on March 21 and 22, he is expected to return for the band's March 28 performance in Johannesburg, South Africa.
