"Insurgent" lead star Shailene Woodley is done with feminism. The 23-year-old actress has voiced out her thoughts on feminism and why she thinks it's a hindrance to reaching equality among sexes.

Woodley is on the April cover of Nylon magazine, and in her interview with the magazine she shared a bold statement against feminism, Perez Hilton has learned.

"The reason why I don't like to say that I am a feminist or I am not a feminist is because to me it's still a label," Shailene said, adding that she's the type of person who doesn't like be defined by labels.

"Why do we have to have that label to divide us? We should all be able to embrace one another regardless of our belief system and regardless of the labels that we have put upon ourselves," she quipped.

The "Fault In Our Stars" actress, who recently gushed about her love for bone broth on "Late Show with David Letterman," also pointed out that she thinks she's a balance of femininity and masculinity, reports Daily Mail.

"I'm 50 percent feminine and 50 percent masculine, same as I think a lot of us are," she said. "And I think that is important to note. And also I think that if men went down and women rose to power, that wouldn't work either. We have to have a fine balance."

Apart from refusing to being identified with a label, Woodley also proudly shared that she is all for sisterhood than feminism.

"My biggest thing is really sisterhood more than feminism. I don't know how we as women expect men to respect us because we don't even seem to respect each other. There's so much jealousy, so much comparison and envy," the young actress, who scored a Golden Globes nomination for "The Descendants," quipped.

The "Divergent" sequel "Insurgent" is set to hit theaters this Friday, reports People. The movie stars Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, Naomi Watts and many more.
