Vena Cava designers need not have to shut down their clothing line due to lack of funds. LF USA comes to their aid by agreeing to fund their brand.

Recent rumors had it that Vena Cava designers Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock might just have to close down their clothing line due to lack of financial backing. However, a "fashion miracle" took place as the duo announced their partnering with LF USA, a subsidiary of Li & Fung Limited. The company is a Hong-Kong based multinational comsumer goods and logistics group. Other known labels forming part of the LF USA's Women's Apparel Group include Rachel Zoe, Elle Tracy, Keds Apparel, Sofia Vergara and Daisy Fuentes.

In a statement, Buhai and Mayock said, "We are beyond excited to take Vena Cava to the next level with the support of LF USA - the industry destination for creative partnership. Their guidance and expertise will make it possible to execute the vision we have always had for Vena Cava. We look forward to building an amazing brand together."

While Buhai and Mayock will continue to nurture the creative vision of Vena Cava, LF USA will take care of the brand's growth through their retail relationships and extensive global resources.

Buhai and Mayock say partnering with LF USA was like "finding their soul mates". "It happened very fast considering these things usually take months and months. We both knew what we were looking for, so when we found each other it was immediate. Like meeting your soul mate!", commented the two in an interview.

The label's Fall collection is soon to be released and the young designers seem very excited about it. Talking about their collection, they say, "It was one of those fashion miracles -- it was amazing to have the support of LF because they came in midway and helped us produce the collection with their resources. There is no way we could have done it without them. There is a picture of Faye Dunaway on the set of 'Chinatown' lounging by a pool with newspapers. She's wearing a silk robe with large shoulders and a tucked waist. She stares straight at the camera as if she's been to hell and back ... and is at the top of her game. We loved the idea of that woman."
