Models Katie Cleary and Joanna Krupa launch a new campaign against model Kim Kardashian to prevent her from selling fur in the Kardashian's DASH stores.
The petition began on the online community organizing site Care2 where the models hoped to get all least 1000 signatures for their cause. They didn't have to try too hard and achieved this number within the first few days itself. The models are now aiming at gathering 50,000 signatures. The petition can be viewed on the Care2 website.
In a statement Cleary said, "As models and animal activists, we're furious to see the Kardashians wearing fur and selling it in their DASH stores. People view them as fashion inspiration and role models, so they shouldn't be supporting the cruel fur industry."
The group is said to be the biggest online community with more than 18 million active members standing up for causes like human rights, environment and animal rights.
Previously, Kardashian's sister Khole has also posed naked for one of PETA's anti-fur campaign. It is but ironic that her sister is now been slammed for wearing and selling fur.
