People change. For actress Cameron Diaz, she has changed from being an outspoken non-believer of matrimony to a married woman.

The 42-year-old actress certainly made a huge buzz Monday night when she officially sealed her romantic relationship with 35-year-old Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden with wedding rings.

A rep to the couple told People that they "were married this evening in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles."

Diaz and Madden's wedding comes amid strong speculations that they are to tie the knot this Monday - less than a year of officially dating.

The star-studded event at Diaz's Beverly Hills mansion reportedly accommodated 50 guests including the "Sex Tape" star's best of friends Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth paltrow, Samantha Ronson and Robin Antin, Huffington Post has learned.

The bride's "Charlie's Angels" co-star and real-life pal Drew Barrymore was also in attendance. She was one of the bridesmaids, alongside Diaz's sister Chimene, assistant Jesse Lutz and the groom's sister-in-law Nicole Richie.

Richie and Benji's twin brother Joel's son Sparrow served as ring bearer, according to News.com.au.

The big event was made possible by wedding planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove, with flowers from The Velvet Garden.

"We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends," the couple told USA Today through their rep.

The night prior to the wedding, Madden and Diaz hosted a rehearsal dinner in the same house.

In 2010, Diaz was remarkably singing a different tune when it comes to her ideas of marriage. "I think the big misconception in our society is that we're supposed to meet the one when we're 18 and we're supposed to get married to them and love them for the rest of our lives. Bulls**t," she told UK's Stylist back then.

"Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years? .... I think people get freaked out about getting married and spending 20 or 30 years sleeping with the same person but if that's the case, don't do it," she added at the time.

This is both Diaz and Madden's first marriage. The "Annie" actress previously dated a couple of celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and Matt Dillon, among others. On the other hand, Madden was previously engaged to Australian actress Sophie Monk.
