British songstress Adele has finally answered the rumors that she and her longtime beau Simon Konecki have broken up.

The "Rolling In The Deep" hit maker - born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins - took to Twitter on Sunday to address the issue saying, "Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays & all the best for 2015! PS Simon & I are still very much together, don't believe what you readx."

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter's post was actually her first tweet in almost three months now since she took a break from using her social networking account.

Adele's tweet was of course a direct response to U.K. tabloid The Sun, which first reported on Saturday that the singer and Konecki have been living separate lives.

On the other hand, Konecki - the father of Adele's 2-year-old son, Angelo James - is yet to comment on the issue.

Adele and Konecki have been living together for almost three years already and they were last spotted publicly this fall at an FKA Twigs concert in London.

Around the same time, Adele was seen at a London restaurant with power couple Beyonce and Jay Z, reports E! News.

Last weekend, the singer and her beau were invited to Sir Elton John's wedding to David Furnish. Unfortunately, they didn't make it to the event.

Adele's latest album is 2011's "21," which features hit songs like "Someone Like You," "Rumor Has It" and "Turning Tables." The album bagged six Grammys.

In May, after the 26-year-old singer tweeted, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x," many speculated that she was already teasing about an upcoming album, People has learned.

It isn't clear if Adele intends to release her third album before 2014 ends, but right now she is reportedly focused on shedding some weight after she quit smoking.

This week, she was photographed leaving a London gym while drinking a healthy shake and sporting some workout clothes, according to Daily Mail.
