Jessica Simpson was spotted with fiance, Eric Johnson, running in the rain. The very pregnant singer was soaked as she and Johnson reached for their car in Palm Springs, CA on Sunday, March 25.

Simpson was very fashionable in her pretty, bright pink maxi dress. She also wore a light jean jacket and shades... too bad the weather was not desirable.

Simpson is due to give birth in the spring to a baby girl and is super excited to become a mother. When asked about the name for her daughter, she describes it as "non-traditional."

"It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary," Simpson explained during her interview in Elle magazine. Reportedly, the name decided upon is 'Maxwell.'

So far, the singer says leaving the drinks behind has been tough. "Givin' up my Scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me!" Simpson admits. "Though now, being pregnant, you crave other things. A big thing of water sounds great!"

Simpson looks forward to the mere weeks until her due date and her marriage to Johnson.
