Oh so pregnant Jessica Simpson stepped out with soon-to-be hubby, Eric Johnson, in Palm Springs. The two walked hand in hand and were headed to a friend's rehearsal dinner at 'Las Casuelas Nuevas' restaurant on Friday.

Simpson is due to give birth in the spring to a baby girl and is super excited to become a mother. When asked about the name for her daughter, she describes it as "non-traditional."

"It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary," Simpson explained during her interview in Elle magazine.

So far, the singer says leaving the drinks behind has been tough. "Givin' up my Scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me!" Simpson admits. "Though now, being pregnant, you crave other things. A big thing of water sounds great!"

Simpson looks forward to the mere weeks until her due date and her marriage to Johnson.
