Actress Hilary Duff has shared what she thinks her character in the Disney series Lizzy Mcguire would be like in 2014, Us says.

The actress-singer shared her speculations in an interview with Buzzfeed. Answering if she thinks Lizzie would be married to best friend Gordo, Duff said she doesn't think so.

"I don't know, I think she'd go off to college and potentially become a little cooler than she was," Duff explained. "But still not bitchy at all. I think she's just the biggest-hearted girl ever."

Duff also shared how she thinks Lizzie would make New York her temporary residence and taking on a regular day job.

"Maybe she'd move to New York for a while, and her parents would probably follow her and rent an apartment secretly," Duff wondered. "I think she's pretty smart. I can imagine her being on a path to something really special and great."

Duff also mentioned how she thinks Lizzie would still be sporting butterfly clips, which were very popular during the time the show was aired.

She continued, "But I feel like she'd still be working her way through the office grind and she'd probably constantly embarrass herself - mishaps in the office all the time."

Duff also revealed in the interview that she and her character have something in common: they are both accident-prone.

"I'm extremely klutzy in real life," the "Younger" actress shared. "My bathroom constantly looks like a murder scene, because I get out of the bathtub and I've cut my legs, like, eight different times."

Duff has been vocal about her fondness of the show and how she would love to play the character again.

"I love it! I would be totally open to it," Duff told the Huffington Post in September. "I mean, so many people loved her. I loved her... Maybe [we can do] a 'Lizzie: Where Are You Now?' like 10 years later.'"
