Reality star and former Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson has shared the reason behind her decision to forgive husband Hank Baskett after he cheated on her, Us Magazine says.

"All I can say is I believe Hank. I love Hank. And he's proven to me that he's worth forgiving and fighting for," Wilkinson said.

She affirmed her belief in Baskett's side of the story, saying, "He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and unfortunate things took place. He's very gullible and naive."

While they are set on working out their marriage, Wilkinson admitted that it will take "forever" for Baskett to earn her trust again.

She also recalled the struggle she went through after learning about Baskett's cheating.

"I was trying to get what I could out of Hank, but I couldn't control my rage," she said. "It became very volatile between us."

Wilkinson kicked Baskett out of their Calabasas home but agreed to let him back before going to the UK to guest in "I'm a Celeb," Mirror says. Baskett reportedly offered Wilkinson a yellow diamond ring and asked her to be his "best friend" again.

"We are on the road to recovery. We are on the road to friendship again," Wilkinson told Access Hollywood earlier this month. "I believe that our marriage has been shaken up and I believe that this is something that is gonna renew us... as people, renew us as friends."

She also said that they'll prove they can make their marriage last till they're a hundred years old and that they will be "together forever."

Wilkinson and Baskett went through a very public struggle to work out their five-year marriage after transgender model Ava Sabrina London went public with her alleged affair with the former football player.

The news about Baskett's cheating came out a few days before the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in June, according to Radar.
