Pastel brightness popped up all over on runways for Spring 2012.

From Lois Vuitton to Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta, and of course all the mass market following the high-end brands have all revealed the beautiful, soft colors.

The sorbet shades and pastel hues give feminine freshness comfortable for the eyes, and can last till summer season.

FabSugar gave some styling tips:
- Pair pastel-hued jeans with a cozy gray sweater and black ankle boots for a perfectly weather-appropriate Winter look.
- Make a bold color statement by accessorizing an all-black ensemble with a minty green clutch or citron satchel.
- Layer a lavender dress with a turtleneck, fuzzy vest, and ankle boots for a romantic bundled-up ensemble.

Deidre Wengen of PhillyBurbs too suggests pairing up pastels in accessories - wearing darker, solid-color outfit with pastel bags or flats.
To keep the look modern and cool, Wengen said to pick pieces with chic color-block details.

"Try pairing a light pick handbag with a black outfit very Chanel…or why not mix a number of softer shades together-see first picture of slideshow for inspiration," said Examiner's Terri Golden.
