American rock band Foo Fighters have announced the details of the North American leg of their 2015 tour, Pitchfork reports.

The series of arena shows in support of their new album  "Sonic Highways"  will kick off in Washington, DC on July 4, 2015, the 20th anniversary of the band's first album. Among the band's guest performers include Royal Blood and Mission of Burma.

Tickets will go on sale on November 22, but only at box offices, says Billboard. The band has launched an event called "Beat the Bots" in an effort to minimize the chances of scalpers reselling the tickets for huge amounts.

"Fans sick of Scalper-BOTS programmed to clog online queues and snatch up huge amounts of tickets to resell them will get first shot at tickets to these shows," the band said in a statement.

The band has posted all the locations and dates of the "Beat the Bots" selling events on FooFighters.com. Fans who would like to avail of the pre-sale tickets online will be allowed to do so beginning December 1. Regular sale will start on December 4 and 5.

Foo Fighters has released their eighth studio album "Sonic Highways" last week. It was recorded in different cities in the United States, according to Rolling Stone.
