Justin Bieber will celebrate his 18th birthday on March 1. Time definitely flies by. It seems like just yesterday the "One Less" singer was crooning with his shaggy do' and premature, high pitched voice. Since then, Bieber has become an international pop star, breaking hearts and records everywhere.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Hallmark is designing a line of cards featuring the singer. These are not just ordinary pieces of paper--a Justin Bieber card has to be special. Therefore, designs include light-up features, pop-up music, and even cards that double as door hangers. The 48-card series will be be distributed at Wal-Marts in April and then at Hallmark and other outlets in May.
"We are excited to partner with Justin Bieber to provide a new way for consumers and fans to connect, while celebrating their love of Justin Bieber and his music," said Hallmark licensing director Jenny Hofeditz. "This collection of cards with displayable, innovative and interactive features will provide consumers with a long-lasting greeting card and Justin Bieber experience."
The cards will range in price from $2.57 to $9.99. It looks like Bieber will give young girls a whole new feeling about the preciousness of a birthday card.
"Justin's fans are demanding more content than ever before," says Felix Sebacious, senior VP of licensing at Bravado, Hallmark's partner in the new card line.
