Did she or didn't she? That's what has everyone buzzing about Janet Jackson's latest rare public appearance.

Looking fabulous as always, it wasn't that the pop star looked bad at all, but there was something amiss when it came to her face. Was it the arched brows, the snatched ponytail? A potential cheek or nose job? No one could tell, but everyone is speculating.

With so many rumours swirling around whether or not the entertainer had a little secret work done, her makeup artist, Preston Menses decided to come forward and take all the credit for the new look and for triggering such a media firestorm of plastic surgery theories.

Spotted in Dubai for a Vogue fashion event, Jackson does look different, but we can't specify exactly how. What is clear is that her brows look higher, her signature dimples seem to be missing, her cheeks seem fuller, and her eyes look smaller.

And the star isn't a stranger to plastic surgery, as she has admittedly has work done on her nose. "It's no secret that when I was sixteen I had changed my nose," the diva legend said once in an interview. So did she do something to her face?

"People are calling it a face lift, not true at all, it's just me," said Jackson's makeup artist to Extra TV. The beauty pro took full credit for Janet's new look. "It is the makeup, I'll take it all, it is the makeup," Menses stressed.

"What people are forgetting is she had her hair up in a ponytail," Menses noted.

So if Preston is telling thr truth, this is just another example of a super fabulous, seriously sickening highlight and contour job. And we have to give credit where credit is due, Preston killed the illusion this look gives off.
