Get ready for the first ever collegiate branded beauty line!

Meet Pride and Glory. Nationally recognized beauty guru and beauty expert of over 20 years, Jennifer Walsh conceived the line of of soap, shower gel, hand wash, hand cream and body lotion, all made in the United States.

Pride and Glory is currently in eight schools within the Southeast Conference and will begin to roll out to the Big Ten schools in coming months.

The line merging the concept of giving back and beauty, is giving college students a chance to not only give back to their school (2% of the profits of each item goes back to the charity of that school's choice through Pride & Glory's trust, Inspiration Nations), but also encourages and instills the concept of Living and Giving with Pride for the students at each college.

So how did this cool ideas come about? Walsh dreamed up this concept after spending six months leading a group of volunteers in the Rockaways after Superstorm Sandy.

"What if I created a beauty brand that at its core is about giving back to local communities?" she asked. "Could this concept literally change lives through beauty? When one person uses their voice for change, they can make a real difference. Now think of what we could all do together."

Walsh realized that the college market was the ideal place to start. "It might be the market with the greatest voice," she said. "And it's one that beauty has never tapped into before."

Walsh is now the first proprietor in the US to hold the licensing rights to create a full line of bath and body care and so on for the collegiate market. She also says that customers from her old company, The Beauty Bar, used to come into her shops looking for college logoed products over a decade ago!

Many more products are to come over the next three to five years. for the exciting line. With the official start of the academic year well under way, the brand is garnering increased interest. Check out your alma mater at www.prideandgloryUSA.com.
