Fitbit Inc. launched its new line of activity trackers with the Charge and the Charge HR as its new activity trackers and Surge as its new fitness smartwatch Monday on its official website.

The trio of new activity trackers measures steps, distance, calories burned and even track sleeping patterns.

The activity trackers will be at the forefront of Fitbit's line of fitness-based wearables. Only the Charge will be available by the end of the year, while the Charge HR and the Surge will be available to the public in early 2015, according to TechCrunch.

Fitbit faced the first quarter of 2014 with a recall of its Fitbit Force due to users' allergic reactions to the wearable tech.

Since the recall debacle, Fitbit's CEO and co-founder James Park said in a press release on Oct. 17 that they have learned from the company's previous mistake, ensuring consumers that there will be no more allergic reactions in its next line of fitness trackers.

"We are working diligently on our next-generation trackers," Park wrote. "We have learned many lessons from this experience and are incorporating these lessons into future products to ensure that the entire Fitbit community can continue to enjoy our fitness trackers."

The Charge, which comes with textured skin, was a redesigned version of the Force. The wearable also displays caller ID information from a paired smartphone, unlike its predecessor.

The Charge HR has all the features of the Charge, but also includes a heart-rate monitor. Because of the heart-rate monitor feature, it decreases the battery life down to five days instead of the seven-day battery life the Charge ensures.

The Surge is Fitbit's frontline smartwatch that directly places Fitbit in competition with the Apple Watch, according to the Huffington Post.

The Surge features a 20.88 mm x 24.36 mm LCD display that shows caller ID, text alerts, GPS capabilities and media playback.

Fitbit's Charge, which is now available in the market, retails at $129. The Charge HR costs $149, while the Surge will cost $249 and will be available in the first quarter of 2015.
