New York Fashion Week 2012 kicked off on Thursday, Feb. 9 for eight days of glitz and glamor on and off the runway. Day 2 of the fashion show paid homage to the late star, Marlene Dietrich, who's style was glamorous with a bit of masculine aspects.

"She, like Katharine Hepburn, wore pants but still looked like a woman. She wore menswear and androgynous style with a sexiness," said Catherine Moellering, executive vice president of The Tobe Report. The looks on the runway were mainly inspired by Dietrich.
