Female clothing? Not a problem for 20 year-old androgynous model, Andrej Pejic. He recently walked on the Paris Fashion Week runway for the Jean-Paul Gaultier line in both genders.
It turns out that the Serbian Austrailian model was in the spolight last year for his gender bending looks. He was on countless runways and 14 covers in 2011. "He's just this beautiful thing that everyone wants a piece of," stylist Ken Anderson tells the AP. The young man is 6'1 and wears a 2 or 4 in women's clothing. The issue is his manly feet... He wears a women's size 11, but has to sqeeze into a 10 because bigger sizes are not available.
However, Pejic has this face many females may be jealous of--high cheek bones, clear skin, plump lips. "Andrej's got this thing that supermodels have: how to pose in front of the camera," French photographer, Sebastien Micke says. "It's just natural."
"I'm lucky in that sense," Pejic says regarding the acceptance from his family and friends towards his femininity. "If I had big muscles and were hairy with a beard, I might not be comfortable with that." Pejic is open to most topics of coversation, however, he has remained unclear about a burning question many have: what is his sexual orientation?
"Love has no boundaries," he says with a coy smile.
No one is sure is Pejic will be flaunting his stuff in New York's fashion week, but below are more pictures of the model on European runways.
