Richard Chai and Filson are like peas and carrots. They are opposites coming together as one; however, that doesn't make Filson flinch at all- in fact he is excited to bridge the gap.

Richard is known for a very relaxed, slouchy New York cool- while Filson is a staunch, 115 year old timely masculine outdoor gear famous for the messenger bags.

Chai comments "Our partnership will be rooted in everyday wear, approachable with unexpected fabrications and details that are signature to my collections," he said in a press release, "all while staying true to the heritage of the Filson Brand."

The first time holding hands so to speak will hit the stores this fall, including a six-piece capsule collection of Chai's reworkings of classic Filson jackets.
