Tim McGraw revealed being "normal" is the secret to a successful marriage, entertainment news site Ace Showbiz reported.

The country singer, who is currently promoting his newly released 13th studio album, "Sundown Heaven Town," dished on his marriage with Faith Hill. The couple tied the knot 18 years ago.

In an interview, McGraw told E! News that their secret is too keep things "as normal as possible" by raising their family in an environment away from the entertainment business.

"For us, we leave the front doors when we go to work, but when we're home, we don't talk about none of the music that much... It's a whole different world," McGraw said.

Still, the country star credited that singing and touring together have definitely helped them stay close over the years.

In June, McGraw told Oprah Winfrey that he finds it amazing that he's able to sing with his wife, and then realizing that aside from building a career, he and his wife has also build a wonderful family.

"I think about having three daughters and having [Hill] for their mom. It's a pretty cool thing for those girls to have her," McGraw said, according to E! News.

The 47-year-old singer also gushed about his three daughters - Gracie, Maggie and Audrey - who he said all enjoy music.

McGraw told Yahoo! News in another interview that talent seems to run in his family. The singer said his daughters are currently trying out several instruments, including piano for Maggie and ukulele and guitar for Gracie. Audrey, who is now 12 years old, takes singing seriously, which McGraw said prompted him to have her do an acoustic set at one of his shows in Arkansas.

"She had one time to run through it, she ran through it once, walked out on stage and just nailed it. And it was tough for me to sing after her because I was crying so much. I had tears running down my face," McGraw told Yahoo News.

The proud father said Audrey definitely has her "mom's pitch and tone."

McGraw's latest album, "Sundown Heaven Town," is currently available in stores and for download.
