Sophia Kokosalaki not only launches her Kore collection at online retailer ASOS, she also has another launch of bridal and costume jewelry range to be sold exclusively at Net-a-porter.com.

WWD reported on January 30th, the London-based Greek creator, with a fan base of Chloë Sevigny and Kirsten Dunst, designed a series of cocktail dresses and bridesmaids' gowns in materials like tulle and charmeuse for the online boutique. Last week, this triggered a sensation with Karl Lagerfeld's capsule collection KARL launching.

The launch drew from a number of sources of inspiration including Greek goddesses, 1950s Christian Dior, and late French designer Madame Vionnet.

Prices are set at £800 (€957), while complementing jewelry start at £100 (€119) designed by prestigious Greek jeweler Ilias Lalaounis. Together, the jewels and gowns will go on sale February 15th.

Fashionistas searching for ways to get a hold of Kokosalika's creations can register for alerts involving designer's Kore range at ASOS, where the beginning price is £60 (€71) for a jersey T-shirt.

Kokosalaki will launch her Spring 2012 Kore Line exclusively at ASOS. The line's summary lace pieces, as part of a designer support program by ASOS Inc., were handcrafted by a all-female team in Sri Lanka. They will hit the shelves in late March.

Recently ASOS Inc. partnered in a leather accessories collection together with Canadian designer Thomas Tait and a jewelry line with Scottish designer Louise Gray. This is all in the name of achieving a sustainable approach to designs.
