Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are now husband and wife!

The 45-year-old New Kids on the Block member and the 41-year-old former "The View" co-host tied the knot Sunday, Aug. 31, in the ballroom of the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois, Us Weekly reported.

Representatives for McCarthy and Wahlberg both confirmed to the entertainment magazine that the two indeed exchanged vows in a quiet 20-minute ceremony attended by close family and friends Sunday evening.

Former "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and New Kids on the Block members Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and Jonathan Knight were among the wedding guests, Ace Showbiz reported.

Shepherd posted an Instagram photo of her taking a morning flight to the couple's wedding venue. "Catching an early morning flight to @jennyannmccarthy & @donniewahlberg's wedding ... What a beautiful day to join as one before God! Congrats to two beautiful people!" she captioned the photograph.

Donnie's brother, Mark Wahlberg, missed the wedding and apologized to the couple in an Instagram video posted Saturday. "Congratulations guys! Congratulations from all of us! We wish we could be there - it's Ella's birthday today, she's 11," the 43-year-old "Transformers: Age of Extinction" actor said in the video. "I love you Donnie. I'm very happy for you. Sorry I couldn't be there, I'll see you soon."

The groom then replied to his brother on Twitter, writing, "Thank you @mark_wahlberg. Thanks to you & @rheadur for the adorable video for me & Jenny! Please wish a Happy B-Day to my god daughter Ella!"

Wahlberg proposed to McCarthy in April with a 10-carat yellow sapphire ring, the Associated Press reported. McCarthy's son with former husband John Mallory Asher, Evan, helped his new step-father pop the question.

"Of course I said, 'Yes,'" she said of the proposal, adding, "In that moment, Evan yelled, 'I have another dad!' and it made all of us cry."

Wahlberg, who has two sons from his marriage with Kim Fey, still performs with his band New Kids on the Block and also stars in the CBS police drama "Blue Blood." McCarthy, on the other hand, now hosts a radio show on SiriusXM, Detroit Free Press reported.
